ITALIAN DATABASE

We've most complete italian Short-eared Owl database: several hundreds of reports. Many of them have never been published or are very old.
In addition to reports, we had to collect data from museums, private collections, raptor centers, ringing centers, for this species is really shy. Literature gave us further data. The following data have been taken from each report: date and place of provenance, sex, age, body weight and other biometric data, diseases, additional notes...
The database will show new Short-eared Owl phenology aspects.

Ornithologists making regional and/or local atlases can ask us, we'll be very glad to give you data - we've also unpublished ones - which could make your research and/or papers more interesting.
